We stand at the forefront of innovation, with a patented and proven process to convert end-of-life plastic waste into feedstock, which replaces fossil oils in the production of clean, food-grade plastics.

Plastic Energy is headquartered in London, with offices in Seville, Singapore and Malaysia. We currently own and operate two chemical recycling plants in Spain, with further construction projects underway in Europe and Asia. You would be joining a dynamic company within a rapidly growing technology sector. It’s an exciting time to join Plastic Energy as we embark on and expand our global portfolio of new projects.

We are now seeking an Office Manager to join our Business Support team in our Seville Office. We’re looking for a candidate with high organisational skills, good problem-solving skills, proactive, analytical and team player.

Role and Responsibilities

You will:

• Oversee the running of the Seville office, including coordinating with external contractors (e.g. cleaning, maintenance and other suppliers); dealing with maintenance issues and organising repairs; keeping the kitchen stocked; order stationery and other office supplies; organisation of events/internal meetings; liaising with the building’s administration regarding facilities; and generally ensuring that the office environment is clean, welcoming and in order
• Provide office logistics and inductions to new members of staff, including IT resources, an office tour, fire evacuation procedure, and explanation of general administrative and operational processes
• Research and arrange social team events, liaising with senior management and HR as required
• Create and track purchase orders including monitoring that suppliers are invoicing correctly.
• Prepare rooms for meetings and customers visits, including supporting with AV equipment and catering as required
• Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, organize couriers, manage outgoing mail, answer and forward telephone calls
• Manage travel booking system and coordinate requirement with the travel agency
• Coordinate leavers, retrieving any PE property (mobile phone, credit cards, laptop, etc)
• Supervise the correct settlement of personnel expenses in Concur as well as the preparation of monthly expense reports for Finance and HR department
• Other ad hoc team support and duties

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Studies qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an office management role
  • Experience using MS Office
  • Proficiency in English
  • Work authorisation for Spain (required)
