GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

Quad Care is seeking a passionate, organized, and collaborative Early Childhood Education (ECE) Administrator to support the daily operations, compliance, and educational excellence of our center. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting teachers, families, and center operations.

This individual will help oversee classroom compliance, staff support, scheduling, licensing requirements, child records, and nutrition coordination while fostering a positive culture centered on child development and family partnership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the day-to-day operations of the Quad Care center

Serve as acting administrator in the absence of the Quad Care Director

Maintain compliance with Wisconsin licensing regulations and DHS requirements

Ensure adherence to Quad health, safety, and emergency procedures

Assist with classroom coverage and substitute in classrooms when needed

Help assist with daily staffing schedules, classroom ratios, and operational adjustments

Maintain accurate child, staff, and licensing records

Support continuous program improvement and participate in staff meetings

Monitor and maintain classroom compliance and learning environments

Supervise and support teaching staff in daily classroom operations

Assist with onboarding, coaching, and mentoring team members

Help coordinate staff training and professional development opportunities

Support teachers with child assessments, portfolios, and developmental documentation

Foster a collaborative, positive, and professional team culture

Build strong partnerships with families through consistent communication

Address parent questions and concerns with professionalism and care

Coordinate menus, food ordering, and kitchen inventory management

Ensure cleanliness and safety standards throughout the center

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis

Education: An Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or Early-Middle Childhood Education

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an early childhood setting preferred

Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience strongly preferred

Experience with state licensing and childcare compliance standards preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Early Childhood I & II Certification

Infant/Toddler Certification

School Age Certification

CPR & First Aid Certification

SIDs Training

Abusive Head Trauma Training

Mandated Reporter Training

Early Childhood Administrator Credential preferred

Active Wisconsin Registry membership preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices

Knowledge of Wisconsin childcare licensing laws and regulations

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused mindset

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and childcare management systems

Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple priorities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Manual Dexterity: Work requires manual dexterity

Physical Effort:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds multiple times per day

Ability to engage in active play and physical activity with children

Ability to sit, bend, kneel, and move at child level throughout the day

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Must be able to visually and audibly supervise children to ensure safety
