Join a growing engineering company active in industrial construction, dismantling, and petrochemical projects across Europe.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to identify new project opportunities, build client relationships, and support the expansion of our activities in the industrial sector.

This is a flexible role (60–100%) with remote working within Switzerland and direct impact on the company’s growth.

HorizonSwiss Engineering Sàrl is a Switzerland-based engineering and project management company specialized in industrial construction, dismantling, relocation, commissioning, and technical services for industrial and petrochemical facilities.

We support clients across Europe and internationally, managing complex industrial projects from concept through execution.

Your role

You will play a key role in developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with industrial clients, EPC contractors, and project partners.

Your objective is to identify upcoming projects, open doors with potential clients, and support the acquisition of new contracts within our core sectors.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial and engineering sectors

  • Build and maintain relationships with plant owners, EPC contractors, and industrial clients

  • Proactively approach potential clients and arrange meetings

  • Monitor market developments, upcoming projects, shutdowns, and tender opportunities

  • Support prequalification and client registration processes

  • Coordinate internally during proposal and tender preparation

  • Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events

  • Contribute to market strategy and long-term business growth

Your profile

  • Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Project Acquisition within industrial, engineering, construction, energy, or petrochemical sectors

  • Good understanding of industrial project environments

  • Existing industry network is a strong advantage

  • Technical or commercial background (engineering, project management, or similar)

  • Self-driven and able to work independently

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Willingness to travel when required
